Stenströms x Mathias le Fèvre

To celebrate our 125th anniversary, we have partnered with Creative Director, Mathias le Fèvre, to create a special capsule collection for Autumn/Winter 2024. A fusion of our own design ethos and the independent vision of Mathias. Each piece in the collection is based on traditional heritage cuts and paired with nostalgic references to the golden ages of style.

The nature of Scandinavia

For us, the partnership has been quite a natural move with Mathias already working with the brand on various creative projects. "We love how Mathias interprets Stenströms," says head designer for men, Peter Jüriado. "He captures Stenströms through a modern lens. So, when he visited us last year to learn more about the company and how we work, the idea of really working together on something special started to take shape."


Together, they have created a men’s capsule collection that includes styles influenced by Stenströms heritage and Mathias unique style ethos. The nature of Scandinavia is the core turning point when it comes to the color palette. Cuts and textures are infused with his love for the 60s and 70s and the accessories carry a personal homage to his late grandmother’s paintings.

Some facts about Mathias

Creative Director, model and actor with a great interest in all things fashion, Mathias le Fèvre delivers his own unique classic style with contemporary elements. Growing up in Denmark, he is a Scandinavian at heart and this is reflected in his values. Mathias appreciates simplicity, quality craftsmanship and new ways of thinking around garments and their presentation.


From a very young age, he enjoyed watching old movies and studying the rules of gentleman's dressing. He discovered Stenströms while searching for the perfect linen Summer shirt. He was deeply impressed by the quality, fit and the beautiful mother-of-pearl buttons. Mathias' style is timeless with a twist, which harmonizes perfectly with the Stenströms' philosophy.

"While going through the Stenströms archives, I studied the collar styles, prints and silhouettes from the 20s, 50s and 70s. Decades that I consider the golden ages.
