T-shirts & polos

Our garments are designed to last. With the right care, you can extend the life of your favorite pieces, keeping them in perfect condition season after season. Here, we’ve gathered our best tips on how to wash, dry and store your T-shirts and polo shirts in different materials.

Cotton   Linen

Cotton

Wash: Most of our cotton t-shirts and polo shirts can be washed at 30 or 40 degrees, but make sure to check the care label on the garment to see what is recommended for your specific item. Choose a washing program with a short spin cycle to minimize tearing and always turn the garment inside out. Wash the garment with similar colors and materials, or preferably separately if it is a dark color. Use a mild detergent for the best result. Button up the polo shirt before washing to prevent the buttons from catching on to other clothes in the washing machine. If the garment is not dirty or stained, air it after use instead of washing it. This is gentler on both the garment and to the environment.

Dry: Let your t-shirt or polo shirt dry on a hanger or lay it to dry on a flat surface. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as the heat and friction may cause the garment to lose its shape. Iron or steam the garment if necessary and adjust the temperature according to the care label instructions on the garment.

Store: T-shirts and polo shirts should be neatly folded and stored flat in a dry environment, away from sunlight and strong lighting, which can fade the garments over time.
