With a little extra care, the garment will maintain its fine condition, last longer and have a reduced environmental impact. That’s why we’ve created a care guide with our best advice on how to carefully maintain your garments.
Simple everyday habits go a long way!
- Always make sure to read the care label on your garment, as the advice is specific for the fabric, construction and (if any) print of the item.
- Air your clothes often instead of washing them after every use, and treat stains individually instead of washing the garment.
- Use gentle laundry products, lower the temperature on your washing machine and avoid tumble drying to reduce energy consumption and to treat your clothes more kindly.
- A small hole and a loose button on your favorite garment – don’t throw it away! Try to repair it yourself, or get help from an expert.
- Do you have clothes in your closet that you no longer use? Sell or donate them to someone else who will love them.
- By making sure that the clothes you own come to use and last for as long as possible, you are contributing to a more sustainable wardrobe.
