For the majority of our garments, we use natural materials. However, sometimes synthetic fibers may be used when it can enhance the performance of a product. These synthetic fibers can be used to add stretch and comfort to cotton garments, or to strengthen more delicate yarns such as in silk garments. Elastane is one such fiber, where Spandex, LYCRA® or the more environmentally friendly alternative XLANCE, may be used to increase the elasticity of the final garment. Our Active Stretch shirts, consist of an easy-care elastane and polyamide blend with high elastic comfort.
